Leia 2D-3D FX

Leia Inc. has created technology that uses the power of AI to convert a flat 2D image into a vibrant 3D visualization. The technology was originally created by HP and uses a type of film that is placed inside a screen. This film is turned on and off by software, which enables the 3D effect. It can fit any screen and can potentially be used in a wide variety of daily applications.

Together with agency A Different Story we created 3D visualizations that show and explain this effect and the technology behind it. The separate shots we animated are used in a video to introduce Leia and the LumePad, a tablet that has the technology built in.
